David Frym, owner and general contractor, is renowned for his deep passion for design-build and his unwavering commitment to crafting unique custom homes. With a focus on delivering comprehensive remodeling and design services, David's work is marked by professional and high-quality craftsmanship. His relationships with clients are at the heart of his practice, and he places great importance on understanding and fulfilling their visions.

In 1994, recognizing the need for a space where clients could experience materials firsthand, David Frym founded the Northbay Kitchen and Bath showroom in Petaluma, California. What began as a vision to create a destination for designers, contractors, homeowners, and builders has evolved into Sonoma County's premier design showroom. Our family owned design and build showroom offers a selection of the highest quality materials, combined with the expertise of our talented design team. David's dedication to innovation and excellence, coupled with strong client relationships, has solidified our reputation as leaders in the Sonoma County design-build community.

Michaela brings a wealth of experience from various facets of the home improvement industry, including construction management, interior design, and administrative assistance. As a Navy Veteran with a BFA in Interior Architecture & Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Michaela combines her deep passion for design with a broad technical and managerial skill set.

At Northbay Kitchen & Bath, Michaela leverages her extensive knowledge in software and construction to effectively handle a range of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and support for the team. Her background in design enriches her approach to problem-solving and project management. Outside of her professional life, Michaela expertly manages the demands of being a mom to two young children. She enjoys preparing healthy and inventive recipes for her family, caring for a few farm animals, and running her own small business.

With over 12 years of experience in the design industry, Josie has developed a passion for guiding clients through the design process. She excels at making the journey enjoyable and stress-free by offering personalized suggestions and recommendations tailored to each client's needs. Josie believes that listening is key to understanding her clients' visions, and she takes the time to ensure that the final result truly reflects their dreams and aspirations.

Josie's expertise spans a wide range of design services, including bathroom and kitchen designs, window treatments, color consultations, and furniture and décor projects. Her keen eye for detail and dedication to creating cohesive, beautiful spaces make her a trusted partner in any design endeavor. Josie's approach is client-centered, focusing on delivering thoughtful and inspired design solutions that exceed expectations.

Raised in Sonoma County, Maxine brings a refined sense of design to wine country homes, combining local charm with functional elegance. While studying at Santa Rosa Junior College in the Interior Design Program, she developed a knack for delivering a seamless design process. Maxine continues to advance her expertise at Northbay Kitchen and Bath, where she is dedicated to creating sustainable and functional spaces that reflect her clients' aesthetic dreams.

Maxine's passion for kitchen design was sparked by her upbringing in a family where quality time was often spent in the heart of the home. She understands the importance of a well-designed kitchen, believing that it enhances both the cooking experience and the creation of unforgettable memories. For Maxine, a beautifully crafted kitchen is more than just a space - it's the foundation for a happy and fulfilling life.

Growing up in Mendocino county, Alexxus then left to obtain a BA in Design from UC Davis. Since graduation, she has lived and worked in Sonoma County where she has become specialized in designing kitchen and bathroom spaces. On her days off she enjoys day trips exploring Sonoma county and surrounding areas, hiking, and discovering new favorite places with her dog Meeko.

Alexxus is passionate about prioritizing her clients needs to deliver a finished project that is within budget, and exceeds expectations. Having extensive knowledge of the construction process, she is able to determine what is practical, functional and aesthetically pleasing. At Northbay Kitchen & Bath, Alexxus uses her years of knowledge in the construction industry, and design to guide her clients to options that will create lasting and stunning results.

Minett earned her Bachelors degree in Interior Architecture from California's University of Davis with a minor in Theater Design. She began her career in 2000 at the Architecture and Engineering Department of the SF International Airport. From there she worked her way into the SF Design District creating for high end Interior/Architecture design firms while studying and earning accreditation from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).

She has always had a fundamental inclination to maximize the use of space and over the years has developed a strong passion for re-imagining challenging spaces. She works to articulate and conceptualize the client's vision, providing them with designs that allow for both function and beauty. As an educated professional who has worked in the design and construction industry for over 20 years, her experience and expertise bring great value to your project. Any free time she gets is spent exploring the never-ending wonders of our beautiful Bay Area with her young daughters and husband.

Ceres Knoll joins NBKB Design Center with over 20 years of experience in architecture and interior design both in the United States and in her home country of Brazil. From an early age, she worked in her family's design business in Brazil, where she developed a passion for creating spaces that are both beautiful and deeply functional. This drive to enhance people's lives through design has guided her throughout her career, allowing her to craft luxurious and inviting interiors.

Ceres has focused her career on designing high-end residential spaces, including custom cabinetry design, material selections, furnishing, and construction documentation. She collaborated with clients and contractors to ensure every detail, from built-ins to finishes, aligned perfectly with the client's needs. Ceres enjoys traveling and exploring with her husband and two spirited daughters. Whether working on a key project or planning a family event, her creativity and attention to detail are sure to deliver an impressive result.

Born in San Francisco and raised in the North Bay, Jackie is proud to call Sonoma County her home. After graduating from Cal State Hayward (East Bay) she and her family settled in Petaluma. There, she began her career in accounting and office management with a focus on the construction industry. With almost 20 years of experience working for General Contractors, Subcontractors, and material suppliers, Jackie brings a wealth of knowledge to the Northbay and D&R Construction teams.

During her free time, Jackie enjoys spending time with her husband, Craig, and her adult children, Holly and Jack. You can find them winetasting in Dry Creek Valley, cheering for the San Francisco Giants at home games, and attending live music events around the Bay Area.

Sonoma County native Tiersa was born into the design and construction business, growing up in a family of local builders. It was there she first learned the importance of balancing creativity, product knowledge, and personal connection to every design project. She began her professional design journey with classes in interior design at Santa Rosa Junior College. Currently, Tiersa is enrolled in courses at the San Francisco Academy of Art for Interior Design.

With more than five years of experience in kitchen and bathroom design, Tiersa focuses on guiding her clients through their selection of tile, stone, and custom finishes that bring function and beauty together seamlessly. Tiersa understands how spaces are created to make a house feel like a home. She brings this passion and understanding to every client meeting. When she's not designing, Tiersa enjoys several other creative outlets, including writing, painting, and holistic cooking. She's also an accomplished long-distance runner.
